Cashew & Rose Bliss Balls

Cashews are sweet and astringent, warm and nourishing. Rich in magnesium, Vitamins E, K and B6 and Zinc.They have a heating quality that aids digestion. Pacifies Vata dosha and although sweet they pacify Kapha dosha as they are light on digestion. Eaten in small quantities, they are good for heart health. Rose petals are known to be anti-bacterial, anti- inflammatory and soothing for the nerves.

Serves 10

Ingredients

1/2 cup Pitted Dates (10 dates halved)

2 tbsps Dried Unsweetened Cranberries

1 cup Cashews (raw)

1 tbspMaple Syrup

1/4 cup Cashew Butter

1/4 tsp Sea Salt

2 tbsps Dried Rose Petals

2 tbsps Cocoa Powder

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Directions

Add the dates, cranberries, cashews, cashew butter, maple syrup and salt to the bowl of a food processor. Blend until a smooth consistency is achieved and the mixture holds together.

Remove the mixture and form into small balls with your hands, using about one tablespoon of dough. In a small bowl keep the rose petals. Roll the balls into the rose petals. Then into the bowl with cocoa and cinnamon. Repeat until the mixture is used up. Enjoy!
