Detox & Reset Programs

Detoxification works because it addresses the needs of individual cells,
the smallest units of human life.

With every change of season, Ayurveda recommends a program of internal cleansing

WHY DETOX ?

Ayurveda recommends a program of internal cleansing with every change of season to help your body flush out “Ama” and release the remains of the last season. Poor digestion is the root cause of most disorders including heart disease and diabetes.

“Ama” is toxic matter that builds up in your blood vessels because your physiology cannot get rid of it efficiently. An example is Arterial plaque. These toxins may come in the form of heavy metals or many other toxic chemicals and unwanted substances that can get trapped in the body due to everyday living in an imperfect environment, stress, wear and tear, inappropriate diet, or unexpressed emotions.

The detoxification process allows the body to heal itself and function optimally. With “Rest and Letting go” having the most profound effect. When things are functioning optimally, we have a good process of assimilation and elimination. Making sure that the channels are clear and unclogged, allows us to reduce the toxic “load” and allows our bodies’ greater immunity and hence less disease.

Combining Yoga, Meditation & Food

I have partnered with Tina Chugani Nair, who is a gifted Kundalini Yoga teacher with more than 10 years experience, to create programs that combine Yoga, Meditation & Food. In the past, on requests from the participants, we have created specialized Detox programs such as “Heed & Feed Your Body” that start with the Gut and end with the Nervous System.

The combination of these modalities that address the body have created the foundation for our customized Detox programs from the onset of the initial lockdowns in 2020.

A cleanse is a time to nurture yourself. This is not punishment or penance, it is permission to give ourselves well deserved attention. The detoxification process allows the body to heal itself and function optimally. With “Rest and Letting go” having the most profound effect.

Clear your schedule – a recommended detox would be 9 to 14 days. But you can do only 3 days. Simply creating the time and space for a detox begins the process of letting go. It is helpful to create a clear intention at the beginning of the detox for yourself
so that, when emotions do arise, you have a way to process them. A resolution is
a useful anchor and point of reference to help strengthen the resolve to complete
the task at hand.

Over the years I have resolved and addressed many health problems thanks to Ayurveda. I did not feel great until I learnt what was right for me. I also help people make simple life changes that can go a long way.

When our bodies are healthy, our PH balance is more alkaline than acidic. Since Ayurveda leans towards having a body that is more alkaline and unctuous, it also provides a very pragmatic and systematic way of treating an imbalance. Our Cleanse uses the 6 Tastes (Shad Rasa) and Spices to provide the oomph needed to help our bodies realign.

I have run several Detox programs online over the last years. We have created custom-designed virtual or in-person Detox & Reset Programs, Guided Ayurveda Cleanses, Private Cooking Classes and Feed Your Chakras Workshops for private participants, as well as groups.

Client Testimonials

"I first heard of Rashmi when a friend suggested I join a 9-day detox program in January 2021. That was a transformational experience. I tried new recipes, discovered new ingredients and ended up feeling light, both in my body, mind and on the scale. Some of the dishes were so good that I integrated them in my every day life. I never felt hungry and my creativity blossomed.

Rashmi's kind and positive guidance made me want to explore ayurvedic recipes more so I signed up for a 3-month coaching program. I learned what food works for my body and how to nurture it. I tested new, delicious and fun recipes. Now I trust my carbs, love my beans and listen to what my body wants or needs. I've never felt better and am extremely grateful to Rashmi.“

“Feeling great after these 9 days, will keep the early morning walk and oral cleaning routine as well as most of your recipes - kids and husband like most of them, too so they'll be introduced into our regular meals. Thank you so much dear Rashmi 🙏😊 “

“I think through this detox, I have found quiet inside, feel blessed and grateful for life and those people in my life. Once again I feel re-connected to a beautiful sense that people come into your life for a reason, don't take that for granted. Explore that more. High on happy. And Ayurvedic food definitely helps the bubble and bounce! Thanks Rashmi, I do miss you and your lovely messages.”

“Dear Rashmi, thank you so much! I feel so good - it’s not only because of the three kilos which I lost but it is - what I hoped for - the strong feeling that my energy is coming back. I will keep an eye on my diet (will keep a number of your recipes), will keep the oil pulling and will spend a bit more time on my own well being (more yoga and exercise). These days really were the first step in starting a number of new routines. THANK YOU!

“I loved being coached by Rashmi. Even being a health coach myself, the process with her was super enriching. She helped me slow down and make better priorities regarding my work, my personal life and my health. She has a very empathetic style and an amazing experience in the nutrition and health area. Thanks Rashmi!”
