Walnut Chutney

Walnuts look like a brain so they are certainly brain food but once soaked, walnuts are easier to digest. The tannin taste in your mouth disappears and the crunch remains. Walnuts help you sleep better as they have Melatonin. Among the nuts, walnuts have the largest amount of polyphenols that help reduce cholesterol and blood pressure and improve your heart health. High in B Vitamins and anti oxidants that help with ageing and make your skin glow.High in omega 3 fatty acids, Protein, Vitamin E, a good source of potassium, calcium and magnesium for heart health.

Ingredients

½ cup mint leaves rinsed and drained

¾ cup walnuts

1 clove garlic

1 green chili (de -seed to keep mild)

2 tbsp. water

Directions

Place everything in a blender and pulse until smooth.

Serve as a dip or as a condiment with an Indian meal
